The left‑handed cobalt drill bits are used to drill the pilot hole for extraction while simultaneously helping loosen—or even remove—damaged fasteners through the reverse (left‑turning) drilling action. This reduces the force required and minimizes the risk of fastener breakage.

Paired with the drill bits are hollow‑ground, straight‑fluted extractors, engineered to provide extra bite inside the pilot hole. These extractors can be torqued in either direction, giving you greater control when backing out frozen or seized fasteners.
